About Us

It was established in 2000 in Istanbul to manage the customs procedures of companies engaged in import and export operations. Under the framework of Customs Law No. 4458, it provides uninterrupted 24/7 Customs Brokerage services throughout Turkey.


The company holds the TC 31-Comprehensive Guarantee Certificate, issued by the Ministry of Trade and the Directorate General of Customs, to firms with financial sufficiency and sustainable safety and security measures. With this certificate, national and international transit operations are carried out in the capacity of Right Holder and Principal Responsible. This has helped reduce transit and transportation costs while accelerating customs procedures. Utilizing transit privileges with confidence in transportation between ports and warehouses, and among ports, Tunaset provides speed and cost advantages for road transit and export operations to countries such as EU member states, EFTA member states, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Ukraine, adding value to its customers. It organizes all necessary documents for the transit transportation of customs goods (sensitive goods, goods with high smuggling risks, live animals, etc.), seals transportation equipment, determines routes, and delivers the goods safely to their recipients within the specified time.


Tunaset performs domestic container transportation and international road transport activities using its registered vehicles and equipment in compliance with the authorization certificates issued by the Directorate General of Transport Services Regulation under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. This ensures the economic, fast, and secure transport of goods alongside its Customs Brokerage services. By offering tailored solutions for the operational needs of its customers, the company continuously develops and transforms its role within the dynamic structure of foreign trade.


Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status is granted under Article 39 of the Union Customs Code (UCC) to economic operators within the international supply chain who comply with EU customs legislation and tax regulations, have no criminal record, maintain proper records, demonstrate strong financial solvency, and meet practical competence standards. Known in Turkey as the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system, Tunaset became one of the 800 local firms included in this system in 2024, with the certificate number TR/AEOF24340006. This inclusion allows the company to benefit from simplified customs formalities, face fewer physical inspections, and experience reduced waiting times at customs. This system has accelerated trade, lowered costs, and earned the trust of its customers.
